Questions people ask
Can I use Gripd if I live outside Nigeria?
Yes. Gripd works anywhere, and each hustle can be in its own currency: pounds, dollars, euros and more, kept separate from naira. On Basic and Pro there is a Sent home category for money you send to family. See gripd.ng/abroad.
Do I need to link my bank account?
No. Gripd never connects to your bank. You log entries yourself in seconds, and on Pro you can paste a bank alert and Gripd drafts the entry for you. Your bank login never touches Gripd.
Can I run more than one business on Gripd?
Yes, that's what Gripd is built for. Each business or hustle has its own income, expenses, invoices and reports, and you can compare them side by side. Free covers 2; Basic and Pro are unlimited.
Can my staff use it too?
Yes, on Pro. Invite up to 3 people to a business so they can log sales and expenses, and see who logged what. You choose whether each person can edit or only view.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Get Gripd from Google Play, or install it straight from your browser on any phone. On iPhone, add it to your home screen from Safari and it opens like a real app.
What if a client pays me in dollars?
Create a foreign-currency hustle in USD, GBP or whatever your client pays in. It stays separate from your naira books, so nothing gets mixed up.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your income and expense data is encrypted in transit and scoped at the database level so only you (and anyone you personally invite to a shared hustle) can ever see it.
What happens if I stop paying for Basic or Pro?
Your account simply drops to the Free plan. Your data stays exactly as it is. You just lose the paid features until you top up again.
